We are delighted to announce that Norwich School has been shortlisted for the Whole-School Community Initiative award at the TES Independent School Awards.
Xổ số miền bắcThe school places great importance on the role its staff and pupils play within the local community. Last year we worked with 120 local schools, volunteered with 45 organisations, and raised £14,705 for charity. During the first coronavirus lockdown over 8,800 protective visors were prototyped and produced by the Art and Design Department and delivered to over 90 locations and 8,000 meals were donated and delivered to vulnerable people through the NR5 Community Hub.
The school has been privileged to grow strong links with particular organisations in our community, notably a link with social enterprise Friend in Deed has resulted in some vital work done during the pandemic when loneliness amongst those in care homes was at a particular high.

The awards recognise the most outstanding institutions in the independent sector. Tes Independent School Awards winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony on Friday 30 April 2021.
