Partnerships at Norwich School

Together We Can

Our latest publication, Together We Can, is a summary of our partnerships activity from 2019-20. The school is committed to making a positive impact in our community and Together We CanXổ số miền bắc is a celebration of the different ways in which we seek to make a difference.

Our thanks go to the many charities, organisations and schools who have made all of this possible and we are grateful to the members of the Norwich School community who have shown a true dedication to helping others.

Xổ số miền bắcNorwich School is committed to providing partnership opportunities and carrying out outreach work with both local, national and international organisations. Our ethos talks of a loving and compassionate community and one of our key aims is to prepare our young people for a lifetime of leadership and service.

Xổ số miền bắcOur pupils and staff are actively encouraged to undertake voluntary activities in the wider community, from fundraising to helping out with practical tasks like gardening or working with food banks.

Just some of the areas that we support include:

  • Access to Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths subjects;
  • Literacy and language
  • Access to Higher Education
  • The Arts
  • Sport
  • Local community
  • Local education
  • Wider education
  • Charity

A summary of our partnerships and community work in 2018-19 can be found in our  and Reaching Out Infographic.

Norfolk Youth Summit 2021

Xổ số miền bắcNorwich School is organising a series of meetings called The Norfolk Youth Summit.

Xổ số miền bắcBecause of the current coronavirus situation, they will be virtual meetings which provide an opportunity for young people across our county to come together to discuss three of the most important issues facing our generation:

  • Equality, Diversity & Inclusion;
  • The Climate Crisis;
  • Wellbeing and Mental Health.

At the introductory event on 4th March, the topics will be introduced in 20-minute presentations from our expert speakers. We hope that each school’s representatives will then go back to their community to raise the issues in their own setting before coming back at a county-wide summit meeting to discuss each topic.

The Summit is open to pupils in years 11 and 13 and registrations are currently open. More information can be found here.

COVID-19 RESPONSE

During the Covid-19 pandemic the school has sought ways to support the community. Ongoing projects include the donation of over 11,100 meals for vulnerable families, young people and homeless individuals living in Norwich, volunteering from staff for community projects, charities and foodbanks and regular connections with older generations in care homes experiencing lockdown.
